What Determines the Cost of a Stem Cell Shipment
Pricing depends on the route, the level of urgency, the packaging and dry shipper requirements, and any additional handling the specific mission calls for. As with all of our cryogenic transport work, we quote in ranges rather than flat fees, and our quotes exclude collection-facility fees, dry shipper rental beyond the standard transit window, and any storage required before or after transport.

Our team liaises with airport security in advance to arrange manual/visual inspection, since X-ray exposure can cause damage to cellular material. Where a jurisdiction requires X-ray screening regardless, we flag this to the client ahead of booking.
Is the courier with the shipment the entire time? Yes. Our couriers carry the dry shipper as cabin baggage and remain with it from collection through to delivery at the transplant centre or laboratory — it is never checked as cargo and never left unsupervised.
