What to Know Before You Ship
Rules on assisted reproduction, and on moving reproductive material across borders, are set by the authorities in each country and can change. For Kuwait, keep these points in mind:
Your clinic sets the starting point. The sending clinic must release your material, and the receiving clinic or hospital in Kuwait must confirm in writing that it will accept it.
Eligibility rules apply. Like much of the region, fertility treatment in Kuwait is generally directed at married couples using their own eggs and sperm, and donor material and surrogacy are generally not available. Confirm your own situation with your treating clinic before any shipment is arranged.
Paperwork matters. Consent, ownership and identity documents need to line up between the two clinics before anything moves.
Requirements can change. We confirm current requirements with both clinics before every shipment is booked.

Clinic coordination. We liaise directly with the sending and receiving clinics to confirm release, acceptance and paperwork.
Documentation. Consent, ownership and chain-of-custody records are prepared and checked before collection.
Collection in a dry shipper. Your material is packed in a validated −196°C dry shipper, which holds temperature for days beyond the expected journey time.
Hand-carry. A trained CML courier carries the shipper personally the entire way. It never travels as unaccompanied freight.
Do Not X-Ray. At every checkpoint the courier requests manual inspection instead of X-ray screening, because cryopreserved cells can be vulnerable to radiation.
Delivery and handover. The shipper is delivered directly to the receiving clinic, with the chain-of-custody record completed on handover.
